On May 5, 2024, the Port Elizabeth Sai Centre commemorated Mother Easwaramma Day with a heartfelt seva initiative, demonstrating the teachings of love and service. To honor this special day, the dedicated ladies of the Centre lovingly contributed 54 receiving blankets to indigent mothers through the organization “Teddy Bears for Tiny Tots.”
The primary objective of this seva was to provide warmth and comfort to newborns, especially during the cold winter months. The blankets, meticulously prepared and donated, were received with immense gratitude and joy by the beneficiaries. This thoughtful act of kindness ensured that 52 babies were snug and warm, showcasing the profound impact of this initiative.
The event was marked by the enthusiastic participation of four devoted ladies from the Centre, whose efforts ensured its success.
The feedback from the beneficiaries was overwhelmingly positive. The recipients expressed deep gratitude for the much-needed blankets,.
