South Africa - Narayana Seva: Serving Warm Meals at the Owl Shelter in Landsdowne

On May 18, 2024, the dedicated devotees from the Rylands and Milnerton Sai Centres came together for a heartfelt Narayana Seva at the Owl Shelter in Landsdowne. The primary objective of this initiative was to provide a healthy, hot meal to the residents of the shelter, ensuring they felt nourished and cared for.


The event was a resounding success, with approximately 80 residents receiving the lovingly prepared meals. The gratitude and happiness expressed by the residents highlighted the profound impact of this outreach. Each meal was a symbol of love and compassion, reflecting the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on selfless service.


This significant seva was made possible by the collective efforts of 15 dedicated devotees from both Rylands and Milnerton Sai Centres. Their commitment to serving the community and working together ensured that the event was executed smoothly and efficiently.


The Narayana Seva at the Owl Shelter not only provided physical nourishment but also brought joy and a sense of belonging to the residents. The positive response from the beneficiaries reinforced the importance of continuing such compassionate initiatives.
