South Africa - Nourishing Young Minds: A Year of Compassionate Service at Local Schools

Throughout 2024, the Sri Sathya Sai Centre’s Ladies Wing dedicated itself to a series of compassionate initiatives at Coedmore Primary School, Glenview Primary School, and Oceanview Primary School. Every Tuesday, three devoted members volunteered their time and effort, and on Thursdays, four devoted members joined hands to prepare and deliver sandwiches to underprivileged school children.

Each event involved meticulous preparation, with two dedicated ladies crafting the sandwiches and one committed devotee ensuring their timely delivery to the respective schools. Although there are no photographs to document these acts of kindness, the essence of these events lies in their heartfelt intention and execution.

These initiatives embody the true spirit of altruism and community service within the Sai Ram community, reflecting a deep commitment to supporting those in need. The unwavering dedication of the volunteers serves as a shining example of selfless service, inspired by the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This ongoing effort not only provides nourishment to the children but also fosters a sense of unity and compassion within the community.
