South Africa - Ready Steady Cook Challenge - Chatsworth Region 2

On May 1st, 2024, the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council South Africa’s Chatsworth Region 2 hosted an electrifying “Ready Steady Cook” challenge. This culinary event saw three enthusiastic teams competing to showcase their cooking prowess. Team 1 took on the task of creating two exquisite starters, Team 2 prepared two delectable main courses, and Team 3 crafted two delightful desserts. Each team had just 60 minutes to prepare at least one dish from scratch, adding to the thrill and excitement of the competition.

The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with the aroma of delicious food and the sounds of laughter and camaraderie. Following the cooking challenge, participants and attendees engaged in a series of fun games and a spirited Bhajan Antakshari, enhancing the sense of unity and joy. This event not only highlighted the participants’ culinary talents but also fostered a sense of community and togetherness, embodying the values of love and service taught by Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
